Impossibly young Scottish three piece THE XCERTS relocated to Brighton last year and have not looked back.  After catching the ears of producer Ben Watkins (Matrix OST, The Cure) they recorded debut single “Breathtaking Fight” which received significant attention from radio 1, xfm and 6 music.

They’ve been unleashing their intense strand of intelligent, distorted pop on audiences across the length and breadth of the UK recently, including supports with Biffy Clyro, Bat for Lashes and Hell is for Heroes.

Citing influences as varied as Death Cab for Cutie, Mogwai and The Police and frequently compared to the likes of idlewild and The Get Up Kids, THE XCERTS manage to combine clean and clever melodies with triumphant rock riffs.

Their sound is fully expressed in live performances which are rarely confined to the stage. With a set of arena rumbling songs and a remarkable sense of maturity, this band look set to take the prize.

THE XCERTS are coming.  Better get excited!
