The sight of fully grown men bent double over tiny keyboards to create a wall of sound warms the soul. And gets the feet moving, or it should. This is Glaswegian band Errors pumping all their energies into their petite machines backed by some superb drumming. It will be well worth catching the band at any of the festivals they are playing including Truck and Greenman where you can boogie free, but tonight in Start The Bus the dancing is sadly lacking. The music lacks enough of a melodic hit to satisfy if you choose to stay static, and I very much envied the lads’ freedom to spaz out on stage.

Krautrock treat Fujiya & Miyagi take to the stage in their tidy dark clothes and kick off with the deadpan ‘Knickerbocker’. Here was that obvious hook, the almost whispered “Vanilla, strawberry, knickerbockerglory” repeated again and again with the beat building behind it. Entrancing. Their set is a pulsating electro-pop journey, driven by slick bass and punctured by cagey guitar noise, ending on a euphoric refrain of their opener. Sexy, sexy stuff.
