Recorded music highlights of 2008:
Wildbirds and Peacedrums “Heartcore” – though no match for their live show this album is the duo’s moniker in its very essence and should be drip fed to the uninspired, par for the course for the inspiring and shoved down the throats of anyone who claims music has lost the X factor.

Live music highlights of 2008:
The entire Venn festival in Bristol this summer, with special mention to an awe inspiring Fuck Buttons set at the Arnolfini. Proof that the beaten path is not the only path.

What else did you enjoy this year?:
This year I enjoyed big rings, sequins and the power of community projects.
