Some people deserve cake. Gathered In Song promotions do a sterling job of bringing country, Americana, folk and all manner of other good bands to South Wales, and its ‘Daddy’ is turning 30. This gig is frigging free you dolts, in a great venue, and features, in the Irascibles, a band who include an ex-Young Marble Giant and who play great rockabilly twangness. The evening may also feature members of Science Bastard “fresh” from the studio, in a hugging mood. Look out.
