Splendid people those Jelas. As well as rocking out in a most excellent, scratchy and awkward way, the Bristol band are also putting THIS on and you should bloody well go. A cursory look at the line up might make you think the bands have been booked based on their good/’interesting’ names but there’s inescapable quality here. And amongst the high-end wayward indie and rock moves lies a massive diamond: a showing from Bellies!, the fevered clatter fun made by Nat Jela and Debi Drunk Granny, and whose recent cassette release has made me happier than almost anything else this year. See? Good eggs.

It’s a gig!
