If we’re playing fantasy musical cross polination then “The Ex crossed with Fela Kuti” will do me just fine. Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp will not only make you less racist but will gladden the heart of any smug art fans who happen upon their MySpace page, with its pictures of urinals, songs called ‘R. Mutt’, and oh yeah, some music too. Music that swells with summery brass, string sheen, playful honking and some fine wailing. It all makes sense, I promise.
