BBC Introducing in Wales with Bethan Elfyn presents this amazing line up!

“Genius wobble-punk from the Glasgow [six-piece], with a solid gold pop heart. Like Shellac playing S Club 7 songs with the fun factor turned up to 11”, yeah, that was from the NME, it probably isn’t English but it gives you a rough idea.

Two Drummers and a raucous live performance at 2008’s SWN fest make for a triumphant return to Cardiff. I saw them twice last year and they were fucking brilliant both times. The first review of the supporting Johnny Foreigner can be found here and the review of their SWN show is here. Even if you didn’t like the music you can’t help but be swept along by their boundless enthusiasm. You’d be a twat to miss them.

Support comes from Me My Head who, to be honest, I know nothing about and Calories who I do know something about as their album came into Diverse last week. The blurb described it as ‘math-emo’ as as laughable as that sounds, it’s not far off. They sound a bit like This Town Needs Guns and if you like the output from the Big Scary Monsters label then you’re sure to like these poppy little time signature defying rock urchins.

Doors are 7.30pm. Tickets £6.50 in advance, £7.50 on the door if there’s any left, check with the venue.
