Course, your definition of rare and exciting musical news may differ from mine. A gig by David Mysterious is certainly rare and this Welshman makes music of a quality level that excites me: skewed self-sufficient guitar sketches that tangle up outsider meandering, clattering US-style garage rock and slightly psyched out noodling. A small amount of releases only, fewer gigs and actual good music adds up to an enigmatic presence that holds plenty water, and one worth checking in with.
