New album ‘Earthly Delights’ finds them showing a gentle, acoustic side – okay it doesn’t. It’s Lightning Bolt! COME ON. Also show some affection for supports That Fucking Tank (who played Cardiff a few years ago in the middle of the floor, on a carpet, and whose heavy, playful drums and guitar riffing is a distant cousin of LB) and the Hysterical Injury (who played the last ever (sort of) PeppermintPatti night, and if you don’t know what that means I pity you).
