If you don’t know: Hidden Cameras = wonderful many-headed band from Toronto, specialising in bodily-fluid splattered, hymnal funpop, and led by Joel Gibb, who Nick Griffin would no doubt describe as a “millitant homosexual”. They’re dark, lovely and swooning. The Gate is a former church in Cardiff, and its high ceilings and swanky wooden floor will be ideal for this pew-storming event. I’m going, but don’t let this put you off.
