This is good news, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, someone other than Will Skinner is putting on Theo. Secondly, and more importantly, this gig is the work of local geezers Barely Regal, and that label’s launch of a new compliation of (mostly) local young bucks. We’ve had a sneaky listen to said album, and it’s a cheeky little round up of the area’s talents. Review soon and all that, but for now you should know that these three bands are on the album, run the gamut from shiny guitar waves to one-man mathrock and deranged scuzzrattle, and will be GREAT.
