Alright. Just got back from watching Zombie Zombie at Clwb (if I was a Pitchfork knob I’d give them 8.4), and giddy on the news that RIFFMONSTER will be playing their first gig, this Thursday, in the Buffalo, in the Cardiff. Down below you’ll see a preview for Experimental Dental School; scrub out King Alexander (get well soon Simon), and eat RIFF instead. Riffmonster are Sam from ace choppy noisers Zail, Tom from hefty bleepness Zwolf, and Andy from the serene Cymbient, and also the nicely country No Thee No Ess. Am I getting over-excited about what is some local musicians in a slightly different line up? Probably, but my brain is humming with rumours of mathy guitar abuse, and I can’t stop thinking it’s to be enjoyed. Come to this and feel my hunch.
