Welcome back. To you. Not saying you’ve put on weight over Christmas or anything but should you want to engage in any sort of frug-based exercise, this here gig would be a fine choice. Andy Votel: producer, remixer, co-founder of Twisted Nerve records but much more importantly, one of the shadowy figures involved in B-Music and Finders Keepers, those unearthers and repackagers of obscure but brilliant musical gems from neglected corners of the world. Czech jazz, spoken word from blokes in Can, Turkish prog, Welsh ancestral folk – it’s all swirling round. As with any other AV appearance, this will be an opportunity to dig into a seriously eclectic range of tunes, all of them impossible to do the statue to. Also on the bill is merry psych digger and probable best DJ in Cardiff Carl Forecast, as well as the decent folks from DJ/promotion crew Harvest. And maybe an unexpected live band? EXCITING TIMES.
