It’s Unexpected Night at Chapter again. The last time the theatre space got used for one of these get-everyone-who-plays-interesting-music-in-and-around-Chapter-together-and-play-interesting-music shindigs it witnessed: a montage of breasts video projected behind an unaware riffing jam band (never/always ask Casey Raymond to do video projections); an overspill from the book launch cum aerobics class next door; live drawing next to a Pong machine and the spectacle of this writer trying to DJ with a German soundman called Felix who he’d only just met. It was a great night. What’s the most you’ve ever lost on a coin toss?
