Our favourite Welsh band for several years now, it’s about time we offered these fine purveyors of melancholy folky brilliance a well deserved headline show.
Indeed, Gathered In Song regulars should already be familiar with the band, but with their second album nearing completion hopefully this gig will provide some new songs to fall in love with. If you don’t know them, but like the music of Fleet Foxes, Elliott Smith or Vetiver, then quite frankly you’re in for a treat.
CHAILO SIM
Chailo Sim’s debut album has seen them garnering widespread attention, receiving significant airplay on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music over the last couple months from the likes of Huw Stephens, Jen Long, Tom Robinson and others. The band also completed a fantastic session for Bethan Elfyn’s show on Radio Wales.
