Their friendship was originally based on a mutual appreciation of teen film ‘Empire Records’ and an unspoken rivalry about their collections of Regina Spektor bootlegs.<\/p>\n Then in January 2006, Katy was offered a gig and asked Rosa along to keep her company on stage. The duo played 3 songs, one of which they wrote that night and Peggy Sue was born. Olly Olly Olly joined the band while dusting through the streets of Austin in 2008…<\/p>\n Since then, Peggy Sue have toured with the likes of KATE NASH, MUMFORD AND SONS and THE MACCABEES.
