Anyway, two chances to see the part of Galaxie 500 that didn&#8217;t end up endlessly guitar soloing to diminishing returns (although if you ever slag off Luna&#8217;s &#8216;Chinatown&#8217; or &#8216;Bonnie And Clyde&#8217; I will smash your teeth etc). Damon &amp; Naomi make really lovely, dreamy, swish and great music and will be Stage 1 in coping with a Tory government (Stage 2 involves chloroform). Er, get in.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/jonnyjaniero.wpengine.com\/thejoycollectivewp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Naomi.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7004  aligncenter\" title=\"Naomi\" src=\"http:\/\/jonnyjaniero.wpengine.com\/thejoycollectivewp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Naomi-e1273056633940.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jonnyjaniero.com\/thejoycollective\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Naomi-e1273056633940.jpg 500w, https:\/\/jonnyjaniero.com\/thejoycollective\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Naomi-e1273056633940-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Damon Krukowski and Naomi Yang\u2019s music career started with modest goals but grew to incorporate one of the most influential bands of the 80s (Galaxie 500), a string of duo albums on Sub Pop records thoughout the 90s, collaborations with some of the most adventurous rock musicians playing today (Ghost, Michio Kurihara, nmperign, Wayne Rogers), and most recently, the formation of their own record label (20\/20\/20) and subsequent release of their two latest Damon &amp; Naomi albums, \u201cThe Earth Is Blue\u201d and \u201cWithin These Walls\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to their work as musicians, Damon &amp; Naomi are the founders of Exact Change, a publishing house dedicated to avant-garde literature and artists\u2019 writings.
