The film was the 1922 silent chiller H\u00e4xan, the band were Bronnt Industries Kapital, and a similar thing is going to occur this Friday in Bristol. Bronnt released its debut album<strong> Virtute et Industria<\/strong> in 2005 on Static Caravan, and has recently found greater recognition through the release of 2009\u2019s <strong>\u2018Hard for Justice\u2019 <\/strong>album on Get Physical Music. This evening will see Bronnt\u2019s solo outfit expanded to a quartet to perform songs recorded for the soundtrack to the 1920s cult witchcraft film H\u00e4xan, released by Tartan Films. Her debut solo album &#8216;The Demolition Series&#8217; was completed in 2010, melding the most simple and innocent chord progressions of time-honoured folk music with a noisenek&#8217;s attraction to drone, repition and inventiveness. Live, Jasmina performs hauntingly beautiful variations of her songs, Fragile layers of sound swirling magnificently around your ears, each song based on her personal style of gentle guitar picking, yet at any moment capable of erupting into intoxicating noise.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/bronnt\">www.myspace.com\/jasminemaschine<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c\/This is straight-ahead folk filtered through an imaginative electro-prism that knocks Cat Power into a cocked hat.\/\u201d <\/em><strong>Kansai Time Out<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>SQUEEZE ME MACARONI<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Squeeze Me Macaroni is a lone wolf, howling sonic flukes and orchestrated sadness into her shoes, which dangle over several delay pedals.
