Don’t delay here. I saw Oxbow in the puny Barfly a load of years ago – Eugene was dressed in his usual outfit (some pants), kicking the stage monitors around like they were pebbles. The book mentioned below keeps getting stolen from Cardiff’s main library (*insider knowlege*). This show will be great. Also featuring a set from DC Gates, better known for bending microphone cables and exposing his belly in Gindrinker. When Strangling Billy, his one-gig-only side project, played a couple of months ago, there was a Gates spoken word intro, over a jazz CD. It was top drawer beat wordage I believe, though I was, probably appropriately, too drunk to remember it properly. THIS SHOW WILL BE GREAT.<\/p>\n
