The Reverend<\/span><\/a>
After a long sabbatical The Reverend returns to the stage of Le Pub on Saturday 11 April the frontman of that now legendary Newport band Caballero.<\/p>\n

The Flying Spider Revival<\/span><\/a>
The Flying Spider Revival are a Americana country folk duo from Risca \/Cwmbran with an overall sound that has a folky feel to it ,like Morricone moved to the valleys and wrestled with the spirits of good and evil whilst drinking tequila in a little log cabin.<\/p>\n

Two Words Each<\/span><\/a>
Two Words Each was born into existence during the summer of 2008, with no specific direction or ambition. Initially, the idea was to create music to play at local open mics. However, we soon realised that the music we created had a solid foundation, one in which would inspire the creation of Two Words Each. Fundamentally, our hope was to consolidate our musical ideas into one sound, creating a new individual body. The music that we came up with as a result of these aspirations must be a culmination of our different musical tastes, because it is not a natural progression of any specific influence. Together we hope to establish original sounding music, which captures people\u2019s imagination. We have recently recorded our first EP at The Way Studio (London), called \u2018In Case You Break Down\u2019. We hope that you all really enjoy what we have created so far. Thank you for all the support, Two Words Each .<\/p>\n

Last of The Union<\/span><\/a>
“Richie Whittaker and James Sadler are Last of the Union; A two-man picket line, sat round the fire, strumming acoustic guitars to pass the time, stubbornly refusing to pack up and go home! Better known as half of Newport rock outfit New State Radio, Last of the Union is a chance for them to perform original, acoustic material. Hopefully, Lennon, Radiohead, and Incubus fans will find something to please!”<\/p>\n

Kevin Dyer<\/span><\/a>
Kevin Dyer played his debut gig in The Murenger House in Newport back in 2001, when the Murenger had live music and a now legendary jukebox!!!
At this moment in time Kevin is putting the finishing touches to his third album which is due for release in the summer of 2009 which he has been recording down on the south coast with Adam Courquin.
He will be playing new songs and old at Le Pub on Saturday 11 April.<\/p>\n
