They skipped their hometown on the pre Christmas jaunt. \u00a0The last Cardiff show sold out, so expect the same, before they head out on another year of non stop touring.<\/p>\n<p>If you know nothing about Future Of The Left then here\u2019s the story, singer Andrew \u2018Falco\u2019 Falkous and drummer Jack Egglestone used to be in mclusky, possibly the most underrated band of all time!  Bassist Kelso Mathias used to sing in Jarcrew who weren\u2019t far behind.  They\u2019ve released two studio albums, the second of which, \u2018Travels With Myself And Another\u2019 was my album of 2009.<\/p>\n<p>They are purveyors of quirky, massively tuneful art rock full of bafflingly brilliant lyrics and huge choruses.  Their live reputation precedes them, especially Falco\u2019s way of dealing with hecklers.  You need to be a brave person to shout anything at these quick witted Cardiffians.  They\u2019ve honed these skills on the road in the last 12 months, two US tours, a few jaunts around the UK and new year spent playing in Australia means that they\u2019ll be even better than last time they played here last time.<\/p>\n<p>Support come from the wonderful 2 man drum, guitar and effects melodicnoisefest that is <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/righthandlefthand\">Right Hand Left Hand<\/a> <\/strong>and I&#8217;ve just heard, Solutions.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re only \u00a38 in advance which in this day and age will barely buy you a pint and a bag of crisps.
