Um. Best recorded music of 2008. I always find it hard to remember what came out in what year. Did &#8220;Curses&#8221; (FOTL) come out this year? <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">(September &#8217;07 &#8211; Ed)<\/span> If so, that gets my vote. Otherwise I&#8217;ll plump for either Laura Marling or Nick Cave. &#8220;Dig Lazarus Dig!!!&#8221; is awesome.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Live music highlights of 2008<\/span><br \/>I enjoyed Rage at Reading (though too quiet!), Kid Harpoon at Glastonbury was something special. Nick Cave again actually. Oh, and I saw Neil Young, which crosses an item off my life to-do list.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">What else did you enjoy this year?<\/span><br \/>Otherwise, this year I have been enjoyed The Dawn Chorus from Portsmouth. They rule.
