They&#8217;re always interesting and often ace.  The organisors also open the show and are well worth catching but this preview is for Flashguns.  This young Brighton fourpiece, so young that they&#8217;re still in school, ably display the wiry energy and catchy choruses of a whole host of fellow indie upstarts but combine it with a more reflective and mature edge that they&#8217;ve no doubt developed through their obvious love of classic 80&#8217;s British indie, most notably The Smiths and The Cure. You can probably add Interpol to that list too.
