Different one this. I’ve never seen them and have only heard one song but I fucking love Big Scary Monsters, the label they’re on and I’m really looking forward to seeing them play. Handily they are scheduled to be on in between Dananananakroyd (Barfly) and Future Of The Left (Clwb), the two bands on the bill they probably share the most common ground with.<\/p>\n

The four-piece make a raw, punky shout of a sound. One that will damage eardrums and deaden your senses. Obviously this is a good thing. If you’ve just strolled over from Barfly then your ears will be bleeding anyway. Their sometimes angular but mostly aggressive, amp-melting blend of 70s rock riffs and contemporary alt-noise has seen them climb to the top of Leeds\u2019 musical pile and establish themselves as one of the most essential new acts in Britain.
