\u00a0Get there! Totally scorching line up here, especially recommended to anyone who enjoyed ace promoter Pedigree Falcon’s Cardiff shows. Hreda and Theo have both played PF gigs, sometimes together, the former being great noodly, clangy instrumental guitar botherers, the former being a one-man band of smashing cymbals and looped six-string abuse (reviewed here<\/a>).\u00a0All on a stage in the best venue in Bristol, the lovely, friendly, tiny Cube cinema. Get there, get there, get there.<\/p>\n

\nSunday 6th September 2009, \u00a34 adv, \u00a35 door. Doors 7.30pm, Music from 8pm<\/strong>
\nHRE\u00d0A are a 3 piece instrumental band from the City of Oxford. Formed in the darker months of 2006, after other momentary incarnations, they pulled together a short set and started playing shows in March 2007.
\nIn November 2007 HRE\u00d0A produced the self-released “EP One” and in September 2009 will be out touring to promote their 2nd release, a double A single
\n“Minnows\/Dead Horses” on Ingue Records.
\nSo far HRE\u00d0A have enjoyed playing with such bands as: Shield Your Eyes, Vessels, Zail, Bearclaw , That Fucking Tank, Instruments, Line, The Pluto, Nitkowski, Theo, Don Cabellero, These Monsters & Cats & Cats & Cats.
\n\u2018Their instrumental post-rock sound, grandiose like a heavier and more intricate Explosions In The Sky is absolutely captivating. Their distorted peaks, battling guitars and swift undulating changes of pace mean the 30-minute set flies by far too quickly.
