And I&#8217;m willing to bet a couple of quid that the person putting this on is male, if only for the inclusion of the nastyboy squall rock of <strong>Shield Your Eyes<\/strong>, who make an utterly grievous mess of serrated post rock and tense screaming, and who should be a pain of a treat if <a href=\"http:\/\/jonnyjaniero.wpengine.com\/thejoycollective\/review\/live-review-theopneushield-your-eyes-buffalo-bar-cardiff-220309\/\" target=\"_blank\">last time&#8217;s appearance<\/a> is any kind of yardstick. Warning to other bands on the bill: they may also stare incredibly intently at you as you play. It&#8217;s a compliment (probably). And those other bands are pretty swell too: <strong>Model Boat<\/strong> are green and twisted rock; <strong>Motes<\/strong> have a sound to match their excellent pedigree (Soeza\/Line\/Headfall &lt; THESE ARE REALLY GOOD BANDS BY THE WAY) and <strong>The Jelas<\/strong> are still one of our fave Bristol bands, the\u00a0kind\u00a0that make you want to shout their name randomly at passers by in the street.
